Registration Procedures

 

Registration for Cadets is now open

Important Dates to Remember:

• March 1, 2026 - April 30, 2026: NM first-time student application window
• April 1, 2026 - April 30, 2026: Out-of-state first-time student application window
• April 15, 2026 - April 30, 2026: Second-time student application window
• March 15, 2026 - April 15,2026: CEAP Application Window

Registration Instructions

1. Sign into eServices and go to Registration Zone.
2. Click on Event Registration on the left side of the screen.
3. Under Event Registration Filter, select “WING” from the drop-down menu.
4. In the Search bar, just under the filter, type in “SWR-NM”. This will bring up all the activities in the NM Wing.
5. Scroll down the list and select 2026 New Mexico Summer Encampment | 21 June 2026| 6893. Use this link: 2026 NMWG Parent Event
6. From here, make sure all the Registration Prerequisites are green. If you see a red X, you must address that issue(s) before being allowed to register.
   1. Minimum Prerequisites: Achievement 1, C/Amn, Cadet, etc.
   2. Parent Portal must be set up and linked (unless you are a cadet 18 or older). For help with the Parent Portal, use this link: Parent/Guardian Portal or contact your squadron commander or Deputy Commander for Cadets.
7. If everything is green, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Register”.
8. In the next screen, you will be asked to select the student subevent: 2026 New Mexico Summer Encampment | 21 June 2026| 10297. Use this link: 2026 NMWG Student Sub Event
9. In the next screen, you will need to verify all items are green (CAP Health up-to-date, CPPT current for cadets over 18, etc.). Read all instructions and scroll down.
10. Here, you will see 2 file links, one for a Flight Release Waiver and another for a Chronological Record of Medical Care Form. Click on the links for each form.
    1. Fill out the forms completely, including parent signature where needed on the Flight Release Waiver (not needed if you are over 18).
    2. Save the completed form to your computer and upload it where indicated.
11. Once all documents are uploaded and prerequisites are met, the registration button will appear. Click “Register”.

 

Air Force Orientation Flight Release Waivers and Forms:

There are 2 forms required by Kirtland Air Force Base for possible flights in Air Force aircraft during encampment.

1. 58 SOW Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement (required)
   1. Fill out this form completely regarding your cadet
   2. Parent must physically sign the form (no typed signatures).
   3. Save the completed form to your computer
   4. Upload the completed form in Registration Zone where shown in the Student Subevent
2. Chronological Record of Medical Care (required)
   1. Fill out the second page of this form only.
   2. Fill out the form completely.
   3. Be sure to include the date at the top of the page.
   4. All three pages need to be uploaded in Registration Zone. You MUST combine the pages into one document and compress them so that they are 3 MB or less. This can be done with programs like Adobe Reader, etc. or a free app called PDF24.
   5. Instructions for the box at the bottom of the page:
      1. Phone Number: parent or emergency contact number
      2. Patient’s Name: that is the cadet’s name
      3. Sex: gender of cadet
      4. Relationship to Sponsor: this is the relationship of the cadet to the parent or guardian
      5. Status: leave blank
      6. Rank/Grade: leave blank
      7. Sponsor’s Name: this is the name of the cadet’s parent or guardian
      8. Organization: Civil Air Patrol
      9. Dept/Service: leave blank
      10. SSN/Identification Number: last 4 digits of cadet’s SSN
      11. Date of Birth: cadet’s date of birth
   6. Save the completed form to your computer.
   7. Upload the completed form in Registration Zone where shown in the Student Subevent.
