• Cadet Cadre (Staff) - $195
• Senior Member Staff - No cost with the completion of TLC and CPPT

PRIMARY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE METHODS

If you need financial assistance to attend encampment, use the options below in order of precedence:

1. Cadet Encampment Assistance Program (CEAP). See the how-to below. CEAP is confidential and not publicly shared.

2. Unit funding. Work with your squadron commander on unit scholarships, fundraising or other support.

3. Wing assistance. Email encadmin@nmcap.us

HOW TO COMPLETE THE FEE PROCESSES NOTED ABOVE

THE CEAP SCHOLARSHIP

Important: CEAP opens March 1 each year. Funds are limited and awarded based on need. Apply as early as possible. You may submit your encampment registration separately, but do not wait to apply for CEAP.

• CEAP covers encampment financial aid only. You must also register for your encampment through that encampment’s registration process.

CEAP for all announced summer encampments will OPEN on March 1, 2026, and CLOSE on May 1, 2026.

To apply for CEAP - Cadet Encampment Assistance Program

• Step 1 — Submit your CEAP application in eServices

  • Sign in to eServices.

  • Go to Cadet Programs → Cadet Encampment Assistance Program.

  • Complete the short application (2–3 questions) and submit.

  • Notify your squadron commander so they can approve your application in eServices.

  • Watch your email (and junk folder) for an eligibility notice by May 5, 2026, from the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Encampment Assistance Program.

• Step 2 — Watch for your award decision

  • By May 15, the cadet will receive an email stating whether CEAP awarded a scholarship and the amount.

• Step 3 — Send your approval to the wing

  • Make a PDF of the CEAP approval email/letter showing the scholarship amount.

  • Email it to encadmin@nmcap.us so it can be applied to the cadet’s account.

Unit or Wing Assistance

If CEAP is not available or does not cover all costs:

• Unit funding: Contact your squadron commander about unit scholarships or fundraising.

• Wing assistance: Email encadmin@nmcap.us for guidance.
