Packing List for 2026 Summer Encampment

STUDENT PACKING LIST

 

The encampment staff has published a final (April 01, 2026) version the 2026 student packing list to give families time to prepare. 

 

Please review the necessary items for your cadets so you can budget accordingly. One crucial change we made this year is the removal of abbreviations such as ABU (Airman Battle Uniform) and OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern), and we instead use the term “utility.” With the transition to OCPs currently ongoing, this term is meant to be all-encompassing for either the ABU or OCP uniform your cadet is wearing. It is essential to know that each uniform has different requirements, and understanding the uniform regulation is crucial to ensuring your cadet arrives with a complete uniform. Don't hesitate to contact your squadrons or cadet leadership if you have any questions about uniform items.

 

While the list is available now, it may be updated in the coming months. Each version of the list will include an “Updated (Date)” marker in the bottom corner so families can ensure they are using the latest version. Any changes will also be highlighted.

 

We encourage families to print the packing list, check off items already on hand, and then work on obtaining the remaining items. Start by contacting your squadron, which may be able to loan or issue some items before purchase.

 

As the encampment curriculum develops, the list will be reviewed and adjusted as needed. We appreciate your patience and preparation as we work to provide a successful experience for every cadet.
