Registration Procedures 

Cadets and Senior Members

Registration for Cadets will open on Saturday, 01 March 2025

and close on Friday, 09 May 2025

ALL REGISTRATIONS WILL OCCUR IN REGISTRATION ZONE IN E-SERVICES

  1. Complete each online form, print as a PDF to your hard drive, and rename in this format:  Last Name, First Initial, CAP ID, CAPF ### (Example:  FOX M 123456 CAPF 60-81). 

    Completing the forms online makes them much more legible. If you must handwrite, please use a black pen with a broader point and press down firmly. 

    REQUIRED FORMS ARE: 

    1. CAPF60-81, Application for CAP Encampment or Special Activity (required for all, including Senior Members) - however the Unit Commander Signature is no longer needed. Rather the unit commander will approve online in Registration Zone.

    2. F161, Emergency Information (required)

    3. F160, CAP Member Health History Form (required)

    4. F162, CAP Member Physical Exam Form-- optional (only if you have on-going medical condition(s))

    5. F163, Permission for Provision of Minor Cadet Over-the-Counter Medication (required for all cadets under 18 years of age) 

    NOTICE: 

    Cadets under 18 years of age will be required to turn in all medications during in-processing. Please place all medications (prescription and/or over-the-counter) in a clear gallon baggie that seals and label the bag, with a sharpie as follows, cadet’s Last Name, First Name and CAP ID; example: Brown, Charlie 123456

    All prescriptions must be in originally dispensed bottles and provide the doctor’s instructions for proper dosing frequencies and amounts.

    All Over-The-Counter medications must be in their original containers or packages. 

  2. Ensure you have all signatures required on each document – the unit commander signature is not necessary on the 60-81 anymore, but parent and/or participant signatures are needed on some forms.

  3. Complete, and upload the forms indicated for your membership type in Registration Zone

    2. Slots fill quickly – New Mexico residents, please register as soon as possible, once out-of-state cadet slots are opened for registration, slots will go fast, and you may find yourself not enrolled.

LABEL ALL UPLOADED DOCUMENTS IN THIS FORMAT:  LAST NAME, FIRST INITIAL, CAP ID, FORM NUMBER.  Example: FOX M 123456 CAPF 60-81

  1. Once you have all the completed forms (with signatures) on your computer hard drive and labeled correctly, click the application link below—Cadet or Sr Member-- and complete the application.  You must complete the application in its entirety.

  2. Once you click the REGISTER button for the application, the Admin for the encampment will begin to compile and file your CAP forms in an electronic folder with your name and CAP ID.

    1. If any form is missing or incomplete, you will hear promptly from the ADMIN letting you know what information is missing or incomplete.

    2. Once the form is corrected, you will need to re-load the updated form in Registration Zone.

  3. NOTE: DO NOT PAY IF YOU PLAN TO APPLY FOR CEAP

  4. All members, Cadet or Senior, need to complete the CAP Health Profile in your e-services.

  5. Once all the forms have been uploaded, your CAP Health completed, the middle red items completed, you will be able to register. Click on the REGISTER button. If you are not able to register

    1. You may have forgotten to upload a required document, or perhaps you did not complete one of the required pre-requisite items. 

Contact the encampment administration at ENCADMIN@NMCAP.US if you have any questions or concerns or continue to have problems registering for summer encampment.

REGISTRATION FOR STUDENTS DOES NOT OPEN UNTIL MARCH 1, and will not allow students to register until that date.

 

IF YOU LIVE OUT OF STATE and plan to fly into encampment.

  1. Please fly into SUNPORT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, ALBUQUERQUE, NM

  2. Please contact ENCADMIN@NMCAP.US with your travel Itinerary, request who your direct contact should be on the day of travel and leave a phone number at which you can be reached. Capt East, or the Logistics/Transport team will call or email you to finalize details.


Senior Members

Registration - DEADLINES

  • SM COMMAND AND STAFF:  February 1 (and paid in full)
  • CADET CADRE: February 1 (paid in full by May 9)
  • CADET STAFF: February 1 (paid in full by May 9)
  • CADET STUDENTS: May 9 (paid in full by May 9)

 

NOTICE

New Mexico Student Encampment Registration opens on March 1.  Out of State registrations will begin on March 31. New Mexico cadets are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as once out of state registrations open, the slots fill very quickly.
