Mission Observer Training Checklist

__________   Take Level 1 course (see schedule or ask program officer for class time)

__________   Take General Emergency Services Course (see schedule or ask program officer for class time)

__________   Fill out and send a CAPF-100 to the personnel officer indicating "General ES"

__________   Take Scanner correspondence course (ECI - 02130A)

__________   Take Observer correspondence course (ECI - 02130B)

__________   Receive a CAPF-101 (yellow card) from Wing HQ

__________   Obtain a Radio Operators Authorization (ROA b-cut) card

__________   Obtain a 101-T card from the Squadron Commander

__________   Participate in 3 (minimum) training sorties (usually done at a SAREx)

__________   Take an Observer checkride (usually done at a SAREx)

__________   Fill out and send a CAPF-100 to the personnel officer indicating Mission "Scanner" and "Observer"

__________   Receive a CAPF-101 (yellow card) from Wing HQ

__________   Contact Squadron ES officer to be placed on emergency call out list
