Instruction for printing and assembling the Bell X1 Glider

Printing
1. Download and save the Word file in a convenient place, like your desktop.
2. Print the pattern on your color printer using white, heavy card stock. (Approx. 110 weight paper)

Materials Needed
pattern printed on white heavy index card stock
1 Scissors
Stick Glue
ruler or straight edge

Construction
1. Carefully cut out all pieces.
2. Cut out slots for main wing and hroizontal stabilizer.
3. Fold up tabs on pieces R3 and L3.
4. Align and glue underside of wing W2 to bottom of wing W1 and place under a book to dry flat.
5. Glue center fuselage pieces together carefully aligning wing slots.
6. Stack and glue fuselage pieces to center fuselage
7. Insert main wing and horizontal stabilizer.
8. Glue wing tabs to main wing and horizontal stabilizer fairing (HR & HL) to tail and H1
9. Form main wing camber and dihedral.
10. Trim, Fly and Enjoy.
